Because of the extraordinary fundraising efforts of the Friends of the Rockport Public Library, our cardholders are now able to access thoughtful films, documentaries, and series on the Kanopy on-demand streaming service.

Once you sign up, you will be credited 15 tickets per month to watch over 30,000 titles. And because the Rockport Library has subscribed to Kanopy PLUS, patrons will also have unlimited, all-you-can-watch access to the following pre-curated packages:

- "British Cinema & TV Collection"

- “Series Collection” with selections from the BBC, PBS, The History Channel, and A&E

- “Kanopy Kids”

Kanopy Kids is a tightly curated library of the best children’s programming and films available today. The selections support early literacy, STEM education, and even foreign language learning. Using favorite children’s characters from Sesame Street, PBS Kids, Weston Woods, and more, Kanopy Kids programs inspire empathy, critical thinking, and self-esteem in young viewers. Best of all, Kanopy Kids titles don’t use tickets, so you can watch as many kid-friendly titles as you’d like!

You can stream Kanopy on any one of your favorite devices! Kanopy is accessible via mobile and tablet apps for iPhone and Android. You can also access Kanopy on your desktop or laptop computer, and SmartTV apps like Roku, Apple TV, and Fire Stick.

To create an account and get started:
