Interlibrary Loan

THERE IS A TEMPORARY PAUSE IN THE INTERLIBRARY LOAN PROGRAM due to extended contract negotiations at the state level for van delivery service. We expect that the issues will be resolved later this summer, and this valuable and beloved service will resume. Please check back for updates.

The Rockport Public Library participates in an Interlibrary Loan service (ILL). If you are looking for a book that is presently checked out of the Rockport Library, or we don't carry it, you can request that the book be sent to the Rockport Library from another library in Maine.

If you are searching our catalog and see that we don't have what you are looking for, simply hit the "Request" button at the top left of the screen. You will be prompted to enter your name and library card number. The Rockport Library will then notify you when your item arrives. It usually only takes a couple of days!
