Title: Taking Action on Climate Change: What Can Rockport Do? PART 3 - Efficiency Maine Residential Offerings

Description:

The Rockport Conservation Commission announces a 2023 speaker series, entitled, “Taking Action on Climate Change: What Can Rockport Do?” The talks will be held at the Rockport Public Library on the third Wednesday of each through June 21st from 6:00 - 7:15 PM. Refreshments will be provided.

 

The series is part of the Climate Action Grant awarded by the Maine Governor's Office on Policy, Innovation and the Future (GOPIF) to the Rockport Conservation Commission to fund a climate vulnerability assessment, a greenhouse gas inventory and a public outreach campaign.

April 19th: Efficiency Maine Residential Offerings - Lily McVetty, Program Manager, Efficiency Maine

Learn how you can get thousands of dollars in rebates for energy efficient upgrades that can help you save money and make your home more comfortable. Efficiency Maine will be presenting an introduction to available rebates, financing options, technical resources, and their installer locator. This event will include time for Q&A.


 

May 17th: Electrification of the Working Waterfront - Emma Wendt, Community Development Officer, Island Institute
 

June 21st: Plastics, Climate and the Circular Economy, Matt Prindiville, CEO, Upstream
