| Description: | Jacob Gerritsen is a long time Camden resident with an unhealthy interest in all things astronomical and optical.
His talk will chart the course of amateur astronomy over the years, with his own experience as an example. He will show his work and bring in some telescopes for examination.
As Saturn will be visible that evening, he will set up one of his scopes to allow everyone to see the rings of Saturn as long as the weather is good.
