|Title:||The Conversation Project: Death with Dignity|
|Location:||Rockport Public Library|
|Description:||Please join us for an informative presentation about The Conversation Project, an initiative dedicated to helping people talk about their wishes for end-of-life care. Learn how and when to have these important conversations, and how sharing your wishes can bring you closer to the people you love.
The Conversation Project was started by Ellen Goodman and Atul Gawande with the goal to "have every person's wishes for end of life care expressed and respected". The idea is to provide family members and friends with resources and tools to help start the conversation.
This program will be held at the Rockport Public Library on Wednesday, January 30th at 6:30pm. It will be led by Nelda McClellan, nurse at Miles Hospital / Lincoln Health in Damariscotta and a resident of Rockport for over 20 years.
