Welcome to the Friends!
2019
Founded in 1979, Friends of the Rockport Public Library (FRPL) is a 501(c )3 nonprofit organization that contributes volunteer assistance and steady, significant financial support to the Library. FRPL’s annual contributions of ($15-20,000) make us the Library’s largest donor.

Join our Friends’ community! This is one of the best ways to support your library. There are many ways to help, but one of the greatest needs in 2019 is help at our  50th book sale.

Our 2019 annual book sale will be July 11th through Sunday, July 14th!  Every year we look for help to put on such a large community event!

Over four days, thousands of books, games, puzzles, records, audio books and DVD’s, the book sale is one of the largest in the area. Our Friends group needs help with set up, cashiering, being a book sale leader and clean up.

You can help with a donation of your time!  You can help by becoming a member of the board. We are looking for new ideas to better support the library.  Please join us.

Current Board Members: Kathleen Meil, Ann Filley, Betsy Elwin and Nelda McClellan.
